Fireworks Practice

1. Create a folder under your FrontPage folder called Graphics_Practice.
   
2. Go to FrontPage and create a ONE-PAGE web with this folder.
   
3. Open the index.htm page (convert it to index.html) and set up a background color.
   
4. Using Fireworks, create a text graphic:
   
   1. Use the text: (Your name)'s Graphics
   2. Use a font other than Times New Roman.
   3. Make the graphic size at least 40.
   4. Make your canvas color something match the background of the index.html page you just set up .
   5. Make your font a color that compliments the canvas and can be read easily.
   6. Trim your canvas so you don't have any excess canvas.
   7. Add some type of effect--I don't want to see just plain text. Spruce it up!
      
5. Save your .png in your Graphics_Practice folder. Call the file heading_fw.png.
   
6. Export your file to a .gif. (You may need to go to window/optimize and change JPEG to GIF). Call this one heading.gif as well and also export it to your Graphics_Practice folder.
   
7. Go back to FrontPage, insert the image into your index.html page at the top of the page.
   
8. Save the page.
   
9. Open up the index.html page in your browser.
   
10. Call your teacher over to grade.
