E-Card Practice Activity...Again

GOAL: Create a self-running movie that you will send to someone special!

Create a card for the holidays...Chirstmas, Hanukah, New Years...whatever you celebrate, pass on a message of celebration!

Requirements:

1. Create a movie in Macromedia Flash MX 2004.
2. You must have two files saved in a folder called "Practice2" under your Flash folder. One file will be the saved file (.fla) and one will be the exported movie (.swf).
3. Your movie must contain at least five objects (any of the following: a shape (oval or rectangle), a graphic, and/or text). Each object must be on its own layer.
4. Each of the objects must move at least once each and tween must be successfully used to move object smoothly from a start position to an end position.
5. Your movie must contain a background color (cannot be a white background).
6. You may select your own size for the document stage, but it should not exceed the size of a browser window and be appropriate for your card's viewing.
7. Your movie must contain a stop action on the last frame and cannot loop.
8. You may use your own pictures and content, but must be school appropriate. There should be no spelling or grammatical errors.
9. Extra points will be offered if you create, on your own, start and stop buttons.

YOU'RE NOT DONE YET...

When finished, be sure to properly export your movie. Email, as an attachment, your .swf file to Mrs. Largo at klargo@d211.org. If you do not have access to email at school, please see Mrs. Largo. YOU MAY ONLY ACCESS EMAIL DURING CLASS FOR THIS ACTIVITY ONLY. If you need to work on this outside of class, you must get your instructor's approval to access email elsewhere in the building.

Remember - spelling and grammatical errors take away from your overall grade!!!
